Sadly Fred Price has passes away. Sad for his family and friends, but if he's in heaven not sad for him. But there's a tension in what has happened around his death and I wonder how people's minds handle it.
The first post about it was from Nikos referring to this article dates 10 Feb:
Valiant Woman has now posted this notice of his passing dated 12 Feb.
And this screen shot
So where's the tension?
Firstly as I pointed out
So Fred has been in ministry for around 40 years. Claiming to be an Apostle and writing 50 book and teaching on faith, healing, prosperity, and the Holy Spirit. He even said, "Hearing the word of God on Healing builds up your faith. Thereafter, if you are faced with a life-threatening condition, you're better prepared to use your faith on it because you've been hearing God's Word on Healing and using it on other conditions in your body". But what happens when he gets sick? A global call for prayer for him goes out. He taught "Start using it on a headache. Rather than run to the aspirin bottle, use your faith. A headache isn't usually life threatening. If you are unable to stop it with your faith, you can always take the pill, but you must start somewhere" but when it comes to the crunch it seems he can't do it for himself. How can an Apostle teach people things that he's incapable of doing himself?
And then, dated the day Fred died, we have Kenneth Copeland
who make a total embarrassment of himself and the Church over Covid nearly a year ago saying he believes Fred will recover.
Televangelist Kenneth Copeland says he believes his friend and fellow televangelist Frederick K.C. Price
will recover from a severe COVID-19 infection. (emphasis in original)
Copeland also asked for prayers as Price, 89, battles the infection in a hospital.
So we have an Apostle preaching faith, and building it up and using it to heal yourself who can't heal himself, and a Prophet who publicly says he believes the Apostle will recover on the very day he dies.
Surely other minds have also got to say, "What The?"
