I have already posted several scriptures that state that God made the human being, God gave the spirit etc.

I suggest you explain exactly how two spiritually alive parents manage to produce a spiritually dead child. I find your belief illogical as well as unscriptural. But maybe you have an actual explanation for that ?

Is God that interested in our sex lives.
I find this post to be childish. God is everywhere present and sees everything at all times. Or are you just being an inflammatory troll ?

As a lot of (some) people here believe that the spirit of a person is alive till they first knowingly sin, the same way two spiritually dead parents manage to produce a spiritually alive child I guess.

We may be spiritual beings but we live in a physical world. We know how that works but how the spiritual works, we're not so knowledgeable there.

But it doesn't matter how it works, it's the results that count. And what you think the results are depends on you accepting or rejecting the doctrine of original sin.

Parents producing an innocent child that is neither spiritually dead nor one with the Holy Spirit makes sense, whether one or both or none of the parents are spiritually dead. The reason why is that we are then all conceived innocent at that level, from Adam and on. If parents reproduce the human spirit then they would be reproducing a child in the likeness of how they themselves originally were at their own conception. Spiritual death is then introduced later as people act on the sinful impulses in their bodies that they also inherited. Spiritual life is only found in the Holy Spirit, noone is born with that, including Adam and Eve.

No, you say God does "X", I say well to me that implies that God does "X.Y.Z is that what you mean?" just to verify my understanding of your statement.

So you reject the doctrine of original sin?

Do you have problem with God adhering a human spirit to a fertilized egg because the parents had sex some time previously and the egg was fertilized because they had sex ? Who created sex to begin with ?

Like I said previously, I believe that we all inherit the sinful nature that is found in our bodies, all the way from Adam. Original sin is therefore passed on at that level.

I would not have a problem with it if there was anything in Scripture that said that this happened. All I've seen so far is some verses (half verses in some cases) which in your opinion support the idea, but that in my opinion is reading things into Scripture.

What I do know is that God told Adam and Eve to multiply and as He told a spirit/soul/body being to multiply (without qualifications) then it would seem that that is what is multiplied i.e. the spirit/soul/body.

If God puts spirits into us individually then one has to question the necessity of the virgin birth of Christ.

    Let's sum this up.

God told human beings to multiply and we know that the mother produces the child physically.

Solomon said in the Holy Spirit that God gave the spirit and when the human being eventually dies physically, the spirit returns to God. There are plenty of scriptures where mothers say that God gave them a child. Including Job 33:4 where Elihu says in the Holy Spirit that God has made him.

No scripture has been presented that contradicts Eccl 12:7 and states that a man gave the spirit. That notion is based solely on speculation. Posters may claim that their speculation is based on knowledge and general understanding of the Bible but it is still speculation. It is not even speculation based on an absence of evidence of the contrary. It is speculation in the face of evidence of the contrary.
