I think Colonel believes that even though humans make children physically God personally and literally sends a spirit to every conceived human in the womb.

So from his perspective it doesn't matter who your natural parents are...your spirit is sent from God whether Adam sinned or not.

Yes. I do not believe that we pre-exist as some posters here have suggested previously that we may do. Only that God creates the human spirit there and then as he gives it. As Elihu and king Solomon suggested and they were speaking those words in the Holy Spirit.

There are some things that God continually and personally takes care of because he has institutionalized it. The most basic thing he takes care of is that anything besides himself keeps existing at all. Then that there is order, that things operate according to certain laws. Then that there is life at all. The Bible talks about this, in him we have our being, he upholds everything by his word, everything would die if he retracted the breath of life etc. He also gives human spirits and they return to him.

One way of interpreting all of it is that he spoke his word and his word takes care of it all, making it less "personal". If the term impersonal makes any sense in relation to God. I'm not so sure it does since God is capable of coping with it all, personally. At any rate, it is still LITERALLY real. When he gives a human spirit, he gives a human spirit. The same way it LITERALLY returns to him when the person dies.

He doesn't install the Holy Spirit in us at the same time and sin does overcome us and kill us at some point. But that is a different discussion.

I have heard this taught but do not see it...as I believe as eternal spirit beings we procreate both physically and spiritually...
That is why I also believe a new spirit being is procreated at conception.

The verses are right there so please ignore them.

Your verses aren't anywhere so please assume them.

Not any more than you have taken lessons in ignoring verses quoted and quoting none of your own, from FT.

But I'll plead guilty of using sarcasm. Sorry if you disliked it.

Here is the definition for soul that I found at Jewish virtual library :

"The real spiritual substance created by God which, united to the body, constitutes a person."
