    Sorry, my bad.

Never heard of that question, a strange one actually as people die because that's the wages of sin.

I think the reasoning is that if they had been elect then God would have made sure they stayed alive long enough that they could be regenerated into believers.

How many people existed when God chose Abraham?
How many nations existed when God chose Israel?
How many leaders existed in Israel when God chose David to be king?
How many virgins were in Israel when God chose Mary?

The answer to all questions is many but I'm not sure what the point is.

With God regenerating people (no matter what the age) there's no need to wait.

Does God have to wait till the white man came to Australia with the gospel before he began to bestow irresistable grace on the Indigenous.

It's not an "equal distribution", God choosing just one out of many to achieve what He wants to achieve.

God regenerates infants then they die before they become believers ? Haven't heard that one before.

In the 70's I read of a tribe in Indonesia who when "discovered" were apparently Christains so anything can happen, and in the OT we have Melchizedek a priest outside of Israel.

But in general it's the Church's responsibility to spread the Gospel so the Gospel is one thing the Australian Aboriginals have to be thankful for.

Many "undiscovered" tribes have a history of interaction with other population groups from way back in time. Some have migrated a lot during centuries or millenia but could have been (largely) isolated for several centuries or even millenia.

Melchizedek is likely to have been a multi religionist, meaning he sacrificed to both God and to some other deities in addition. Like some of the Babylonian kings who claimed they were acting on God's behalf some times. But we can't be sure.
