David Alsobrook???
What happened with Rev. David Alsobrook? I read a couple of books he authored several years ago that were a blessing.
It looks like he had flipped into New Age teachings, ... and then passed last year. Anyone know of him?

He used to minister at Ruth Heflin's camp, frequently, until his divorce (He never remarried.). I THINK his sister is James Maloney's wife.
I used to listen to his tapes and books. Good stuff..he was an excellent teacher.
Publicly, he stayed in the church, but I was in touch with him, periodically, via E-mail during the last two years of his life.
However, he did at least one interview, available on YouTube, that was with a New Age show. I am pretty generous in people reaching out beyond our own "circles," and I understand crafting your message to your audience...to plant seeds.
However, there were some things he said (Can't remember exactly what now.) that really concerned me.
We mostly talked by e-mail about the work of the Spirit, and he was very sick, with a lot of pain, in his last years. And financially broken due to his health bills and too much pain to travel.
I sent him a few offerings, nsmall, during that time. I had concerns with some things, but, at the same time, he truly blessed me in the area of the Spirit. He was a kind man who was very intelligent, from my experience.

This was the interview. To be honest, it saddened me.

Jeff Doles is now a believer in a heresy called after death conversions. I was in a small debate with him over this on his blog page.

Universalism is starting to become a major issue among christians. They reject hell as incompatible with God as love.
It's demonic deception.
The church has entered a very dangerous era where truth is being discarded
