The picture in post #21 is inaccurate in several points.

The picture shows the ark with a contoured hull. According to the dimensions given at Gen 6:15, the ark was shaped like what the whiz kids call a right rectangular prism; which is nothing in the world but the shape of a common shoe box.

The picture shows Noah and the critters outside the ark in the open air. According to Gen 7:13-19 no one was on the outside. Everyone, man and animal, was sealed inside the ark and did not come out until God gave the OK in Gen 8:15-17.

The picture shows portholes in the side of the ark. According to Gen 6:16 there was only one window, and it was on top of the ark rather than located in it's side.

The picture shows froth around the ark as if it's under way. Noah was given no instructions for propulsion: neither for oars or sails. The ark was basically a very simple barge.

I remember reading something along time ago about the shape that always kept it turned into the wind or something like that, but don't remember the details. It was a shoebox shape though.

Maybe TT's pic was from after God gave the OK. ;)

Hey Webers, have you heard of this guy? He built an actual sized Noah's Ark strictly according to the dimensions given in the bible. Pics at the link:

The picture shows the ark afloat. According to Gen 8:13-19, God didn't give Noah and his passengers the green light to come out until all the water was gone.

    Just came across this.

If one is having problems with their car do they take it to the bakers? Does one go to McDonalds to buy a new dining room table?

With questions about such things one goes to the people who know, people who have been providing Biblically correct answers to them for nearly half a century.

P.S. Showing pictures like TT's to kids shows them something that they recognise as "wrong". Is it any surprise that in later life they disbelieve it.

Yep, like folks like happy clappy messages. THe church is required to give them Biblical truth, not "what they like/want".
