Living the van life: Journey to Arctic Ocean in winter
There are many Youtube vloggers who chronicle their activities while living inside a van.
One I particular enjoy has a channel titled "Living the Van Life".
Last year, during the winter, he travelled in his van from northwest Washington State to
the Arctic Ocean. (His journey took him through British Columbia and Yukon, and ended at
the town of Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories, on the Arctic Ocean.)
I enjoy the time-lapse videos and the overhead shots apparently taken from
a drone that he somehow controls while driving at the same time.
The journey is described in three parts:
The journey (in one direction) covered 2400 miles and 56 hours of driving.

These are fun to watch, but I never want to ever try that. It all looks like a great adventure, but I don't think I could live in a van and adventure around like that.
My grandparents were great travelers, planning elaborate trips in the 1950s through the 1980s. They went to Australia for a month, and rented a car drove all around the country. They also did a driving trip through Mexico in the early 70s down through Central America, and did the Alaskan Highway (from Michigan) twice in the 60s. There were many driving trips around the USA and Canada as well.
