Now now no lets not throw the baby out with the bath water .. there is plenty of fore telling needed

    Matthew 16:3 KJV
And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
Not implying that anyone hereon is a hypocrites but being able to discern the signs of the times seems to be expected of us

    Just saying

The apostle Paul would be laughed out of most WOF churches due to his relative poverty and "hard times", nor would he have many followers on youtube due to lack of ear tickling.
Uggh .. you just had to bring the WOF into this didnt you? Anyway we forgive you

I qualified that with "some", I didn't think you were wearing that shoe. Every stream in the Body carries out some excess, that's just the way it is but since you forgive me, I do apologize.

Paul was prosperous enough to afford his own place in an expensive real estate market like Rome, which is why he was allowed to live under house arrest rather than in a prison. He was prosperous enough to provide for himself while ministering to the Thessalonians. He was prosperous enough to tell Philemon that he would pay any debt Onesimus might owe to him. I don't know any WoF church that would dismiss somebody with such a fruitful ministry and powerful anointing. No offense, but I don't think you know much about the WoF movement. It sounds to me like you're confusing the televangelist nonsense with actual WoF ministries.

The bible says he rented but yeah I've been around some wof ministries, had some wof friends, attended a wof church for a few years until....

"Giving to the poor is sowing into poverty, give into good ground (me)!". Paul most definitely would have been run out of there.

However of WOF, I am chief, I declare souls saved, rebuke hurricanes, disease and poverty and other things that will bless OTHERS. I believe wholeheartedly to speak the Word, its promises, etc but I'm not going to be buying anyone more jets!

Had a question though. Is WOF continuing generationally, just wondering if it has legs with the millennials, younger generations?

Acts 28:30 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.

Maybe he forgot to run a "Possess the Land" offering.

BTW, I've mentioned before and wholeheartedly believe that WOF, properly focused could do great damage to darkness.

It's the focus, not the theology that went overboard.

I have never heard anybody say that giving to the poor is sowing into poverty. I would be repulsed at such a statement. Many WoF churches have a benevolence ministry. I have supported a mission in my home town run by a childhood friend. And I would never donate to a televangelist's jet purchase. That was the point that I was raising. The true WoF movement isn't what you see on TV. I graduated from Kenneth Hagin's school, and there are thousands of Rhema graduates preaching the gospel in poor countries. They don't live in mansions, fly around in jets, or drive a Lexus. But they prosper. That's the bottom line. It's not about accumulating stuff. It's about furthering the Kingdom.

We've had different experiences. All the crazy stuff you've heard, I've seen and heard. and not just at that one place or TV. Again, I don't reject the theology/premise, the Word is powerful.

Fair enough. Maybe our different experiences are due to our different backgrounds. Having come out of the Rhema world I tend to avoid the more extreme ministries.
