A lot of people around the world would read the gospels and decide that Jesus was living comfortably compared to their own lifestyles. There is no record of his doing any kind of work during his ministry, all he did was travel around the countryside and preach. There is no record of his lacking proper clothing, food or drink or of failing to find shelter during bad weather. He didn't always spend the night in a house but that had more to do with hiding from people who were chasing after him for various reasons.

Paul said he became poor ....it is very simple... being poor in those days was no picnic
Jesus wanted to show his overcoming power in that he could trust the Father for everything.
At times some people blessed Jesus with good things but it wasn't constant.
He fed 5000+ people with a very simple diet of loaves and small fish....that is the food of very simple people.
I am glad Jesus chose to be poor as he can relate to those suffering poverty and still be victorious by trusting God

You really need a fresh revelation of Jesus and the scriptures as what you wrote is your own human reasoning
You don't understand Isaiah 53 in how Jesus suffered at times

You're free to disagree. But I'd like you to point out in what ways the middle class of that day was living far better than Jesus did during his ministry.

You want Jesus to be a middle class saviour. He became poor, he was not middle class
He did not own anything, he gave it all away, the apostles only kept enough money to meet their basic needs.
Every now and again they were blessed with gifts or had meals at the homes of others.
They walked everywhere in the hot sun, dusty, smelly sweating profusely. It was not easy how they lived and God deliberately wanted it that way to sort out the men from the boys.
They had to cross the sea in a storm obviously getting soaked and freezing cold and yes Jeus calmed the storm but he didn't dry their clothes in a spin drier.
We have to start thinking beyond our comfortable western lifestyles to fully understand how Jeus lived

No I do not want Jesus to be a middle class saviour. You need to actually read what I have been saying. Jesus was poor by the standards of most of the world today and certainly by our standards. He was not poor by the standards of his surroundings at that time, which is more comparable to the rural third world today.
If you think he was poor by the standards of his surroundings at that time and that Isaiah 53 talks about his general life and not about his final ordeal, then that should show in the gospels. Please point out in what ways the middle class OF THAT DAY was living far better than Jesus did during his ministry.

Paul the apostle under divine revelation said Jesus became poor and Paul understood what poverty in Israel and the Roman world meant
Jesus preached about having food and clothing and that was it but the key was trusting the Father
Jesus was not afraid to live his life totally dependant on the Father without needing any other comforts.
At times he went into homes and ate well and was blessed with some extra things but that was not the norm.
Jesus came from heaven where he was a rich King...he was not afraid of laying it all down and becoming poor on earth. It was not a big deal for him but it is a big deal for us

Jesus had a rich robe....wooppee
It doesn't say anything about his sandals ....try walking for hundreds of miles in sandals and what your feet would be like. I would rather have a average robe and nice boots if I had to walk those distances.
No wonder they washed the feet as they were filthy dirty and aching
Did he have a suitcase of clean underwear to change into?

I suggest you answer my question :
Please point out in what ways the middle class OF THAT DAY was living far better than Jesus did during his ministry
Loaves and fishes is a very nutritious and filling meal by the way. Much preferable to the bowl of rice per day that they often eat in the rural third world today. They even had food left over after everyone had eaten their fill.

What about this one. There goes Jesus with his rich robe on but ....oh no..here comes the multitude of beggars and dirty people all reaching out to touch his clean white expensive rich exorbitant robe with their smelly hands.
I'm sure Jesus turned around and was horrified at the state of his robe...because he really was either a very rich or middle class saviour who didn't want dirty beggars to mess up his beautiful robe
