Did God Fore-Ordain (Make it Happen)

I am using AJ's post regarding the terrible murders in Canada
Gunman killed 16 people in rampage in Nova Scotia (edit: Now @22)

According to Calvinist belief God fore-ordained or he actually willed it and made it happen even though the guy still had free will

So I made a poll to find responses

I wonder why you're not using Scripture when asking a question on what God did? E.G,

"The Lord hath made all for himself yea, even the wicked for the day of evil;" (Prov 16:4).

    but then we also know

"we (Paul and the Christians in Ephesians) have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will" (Eph 1:11)

"in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, ... to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur. " (Acts 4:27-28)

Jesus who was "delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross ... and put Him to death" (Acts 2:23)

God "has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity" (2Tim 1:9)

Unfortunately none of your options fit me close above so

X - None of the above.

I'm uncomfortable with your phrase "made it happen." Did God make happen all that happened to Job? Or was God's purpose to bring a better end to Job than his beginning? God's purposes are often hidden within great tragedy or adversity. My own experience has been that God has redeemed every heartache and adversity I've gone through--especially those trials brought about by my "free will" stupidity, even though at the time I thought all was lost forever. I was so very wrong.

Bottom line: I can't answer your poll with the options you've presented.

Femme said the below and she as you know believes in Calvin (Tulip doctrine)

either God is sovereign and MAKES things happen
or He's sees the future but doesn't make anything happen.

Though we have free will we are being influenced by our surroundings.
