I responded with, " The Holy Spirit leads me into all truth."
I believe I do have the gift of discernment. That being said, I also have trust issues which can cloud it so I MUST rely on the Holy Spirit fully.

Do you have any particular "filters", the word of God or specific scripture, the still, small voice, impressions?

The poll isn't there to lock anyone in, it's just an open question. How do you process things as it relates to discernment?

The Word of God for certain. Impressions are too 'iffy' and must be substantiated by Scripture, although the 'impression' lets me know that SOMETHING is going on.
I'd say all of the above working together. Just relying on a feeling can lead the wrong way.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11

I voted "the HS leads me into all truth", I also have discernment, but like Michelle I also have trust issues, and the Lord knows this so He deals with me accordingly

I didn't vote in the poll because it's a combination of all of it for me. God doesn't speak to me in just one way, but I know when He does.
