One learns how to work one's limited resources and I think that applies to online discussions too. It's easier to fake things online than offline though.

just recently I've been introduced to this woman.

    https://rosariabutterfield.com

she has an amazing story. One of the things that stood out to me was that early in her "research" she met and came to know a pastor and his wife. They became friends. The first time she had dinner with them, while they said grace over the dinner... the convo never went to "gospel".
this made a big impact on her too.. made her realize she wasn't just a trophy. (my paraphrase)

    Her testimony is pretty amazing.

I didnt see the part about the gospel convo, but I think that you are saying that we can jump too quickly to give pe0ple the plan of salvation, when it is good to get to know them first.

This week I had lunch with a colleague from Asia. He asked me what the meaning of Good Friday and Easter. He said he is skeptical of polytheistic Buddhism, and wanted to know more about Jesus.

So here is an open door to the presentation of the gospel, that I will take step by step. Today I invited him to lunch to meet my fireball wife, who will no doubt give her powerful testimony, as we get to know him.

True...but I think what I am getting at is it's not always a method...there are times when the Spirit wants to give hard direct insight and warnings and what we feel in that is passionate and even desperate...their response, however, does not confirm that, as sometimes they still reject....but it's not us or our method although the enemy may say it is....it very well may be the message and the Spirit they are rejecting....being seeker friendly so to speak should not be a method....we must remain sensitive to the voice of the Spirit in each situation being careful not to rely on a method....or ministry training...

MB was very effective to correct the false, sweeping accusations that JM and Co spew at the PC movement.
He used grace by honoring JM and PJ as brothers in Christ. But said that JM owes the PC movement an apology for his sweeping and false accusations.

MB also defended the FRUIT of the Charismatic "distinctives" in healings and demonic deliverances in the mission field.

But, I am seeing that some of MB "rules of engagement" seem to be:
1 - Start out with a positive note of unity, like we are brothers in Christ, or "I honor/respect JM..."
2 - He acknowledges valid points from opposing views, but properly quantifies and contextualizes them

Her talking about not being hammered with the gospel was in a lecture I listened to.

true.. We know not everyone responds in the same way.

I know I, personally, do not respond to heavy pressure, so I'm not going to be one who would go that way.

(well.. I don't think I would.. however, I know there have been times where what starts coming out of my mouth isn't what I'd expect to be coming out of my mouth! lol.. I always know in those times it's a God thing happening.)

I've never understood the just stand on a corner and yell at people. I don't get that.. but I know that God uses that too. So, I just go about my business knowing God will put the people in the right place at the right time and they will respond.

God indeed uses it, especially when it is the FULL Gospel, along with the accompanying signs and wonders.
