This is important....it is the living flow or workings of the Holy Spirit, not methodical scriptural obedience...so many times people are prayed for and a lot of declaring is done and they leave unchanged, unhealed..anointing is either absent or what the Holy Spirit wants to say and do is missed in all the methodology..

Whether the person being ministered to receives is their choice. They may choose to reject, but the one ministering still receives because of obedience.

I always enjoy PS, however, old people do not have to die sick. The promises of God are for everyone. Age is not a factor. Jesus died for all and took the stripes for all, both old and young. Elisha was not sick because he was old, but because he did not believe. Faith in God will bring healing every time. No exceptions.

The Scriptures do not say how old Elisha was when he died.

He may have died young or middle age. Old folk do not have to die sick. When Jesus took the stripes on His back, it was for ALL who believe. Not for those under a certain age. I know this spoils one's nice little explanation of a difficult scripture, however, sometimes there is no answer to some problems.

In regard to Elisha we can conclude he wasn't young or middle aged as he had a long ministry and outlived different kings

To outlive a King is meaningless. Yet my point is that there are no age limits on healing. If there were then the love of God would not be unconditional. It would make the stripes of Jesus with no power for the elderly.
My Mother lived to 95 without sickness or pain. When she died she simply laid down on her bed and went to be with Jesus. She was a humble holiness christian who gave her every hour to the things of the Lord. Raised 4 children all saved and pentecostal. No need for sickness when Jesus paid the price for our healing. I am 78 and need a healing. I will let no one take away my faith for God to heal me completely. I believe I will not die sick. God has promised. I live in the Word and in prayer and in expectancy.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
