Is that anything like telling people, in any particular group, what they believe instead of asking them what they believe?
annoying isn't it?

We've had this discussion before. Telling people what Calvinism actually teaches or criticizing their stated belief for being intrinsically illogical is a different matter.

That would be a very good if people were being taught what mainstream Calvinism taught and not what someone who has something against Calvinism says Calvinism teaches.

See, that's exactly what I'm talking about above.

I'm not sure that you understood the sentence. I'll restate it :
* Telling people what Calvinism teaches is okay
* Criticizing people's stated belief for being intrinsically illogical is okay

Thank you, my bad.
My concern was that
* It will be taught incorrectly e.g. I found this "It should first be understood that Calvinism is a highly logical, systematic, and interconnected system of belief that relate to our spiritual nature and ultimately our salvation" (which to me seems correct) but then it goes on to say that "God ... has made all choices and man is, therefore, without choice and free will" (which is not a teaching of Calvinism) (REF)
* One of the problems with Western man is that he want's to understand things, he wants them "logical". Well sometimes God doesn't work that way, in fact thinking about it most of the things God did could have been done in a simpler way (which would be logical). Criticize someone's beliefs for being intrinsically non-Biblical yes, but if they're Biblical ....
One of the consequences of Original Sin, the topic of this thread, is that babies can go to hell. Some people say that that's "not fair", it's not "just". But God IS just, but He does not think it's worth the effort to tell us about babies who die, so we should accept that. Baseing one's theology, changing how one understands the Bible even, on a personal interpretation of something God just wants you to trust Him on, now that's illogical.
