Have you been water baptized?
A bit of a spin-off from this thread:

Baptizing people in some private bath tub makes it a matter of full immersion in water but it defeats the main purpose of being baptized in water, the public aspect to it. Being baptized in a public church service is better because then it is at least possible for anyone to come by and watch.

I was water baptized in a church back in the 90's.
So, have you been water baptized and if not, why not?

Yup, been dunked twice! I know it's only "necessary" once, the second time was something deeply personal between me and the Lord and the movement we're a part of.

Yep. Twice like Kay. Once when real young when I didn't know what I was doing, and once for real. :)
Actually 3 times now that I think about it. Kind of a special thing like Kay mentioned.

Twice...when I was first saved...and when I was attending a particular church that believed in baptizing in Jesus name ( it wasn't a oneness church but was a part of the apostle/prophetic movement) ETA: this church didn't "require" everyone being baptized in Jesus' name but after I heard their reasoning about it, I wanted to..kinda a personal thing, like some here.

In my opinion, It's minimalized and treated as an after thought by much of the church world today but not according to the bible
