If they are sincere Christians they do not drink wine. They will not tolerate drugs at the communion table.

I was talking to a former Baptist tonight who came from a church that taught the "running water" doctrine and he said his pastor taught that you had to be baptized in creek so that the SINS would would wash away and flow down the river. He said his pastor baptized him face down which I had never heard of

Yes, I was baptized many years ago. .... only needed it one time. It took the first time. Hallelujah!!!

I have baptized many people who were first baptized when they were very young because they were unsure or doubtful about their being truly saved at that time, or they had backslid for a number of years and had come back to faith in Christ and were making a new beginning in their walk with Him.

I know some people who wanted to be baptized in the river Jordan while visiting Israel. I do not have a problem with that, but it is not for me.

Through baptism, the Christian believer identifies with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ Jesus. Why be baptized more than once???? Jesus only died once, never to die again.

For some, I think it's like renewing your wedding vows. You do it as a celebration, and an affirmation of what you believe.
