Frozen Chosen
Rog and I were baptized in a neighbor's swimming pool a couple years after getting saved, along with a group of people from the little church we were attending. It was wonderful.
Listened to this song all day (on a record player!) and just felt completely immersed in the love of God.

I was "sprinkled" as a Methodist baby and "dunked" as a "Methodecostal" teenager.

mine is similar to Susan. Sprinkled as a Presbyterian baby, dunked as a non-denominational late teen/early 20's.

I should have added that we got baptized in the late 80s, as we got saved in 85. Both of us were patted on the head with a reverend's wet fingers as wee ones in a mainline denomination, the United Church of Canada.

Sounds like a true Norwegian conformist. Which usually equals someone who is totally self righteous.

It must have been when I was away.. but I can't understand why anyone would freak out about folks wanting to be baptized a 2nd time.
I don't think it's needed, but sometimes it becomes a marker..
(does that make sense?)
