I didn't exceed the speed limit yesterday. Does that mean that I can drive much faster today? Fulfilling a law does not remove or invalidate the law. Just because Jesus was perfect does not mean that all of His disciples were perfect after the resurrection. And if you claim that you are perfect because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, you are claiming His mercy and grace but you need His mercy and grace because you are not perfect. I have to add that the argument that mankind is not under law is about as dumb as anything I have ever heard. You are not allowed to commit murder, steal, commit adultery or any of the thousands of laws enacted by government. It is true that your salvation is not based on your observance or compliance with the law but God has not revoked any of His commandments. That is why you need salvation by grace through faith after all. But go ahead, sin so that grace may abound...God forbid!
