REVIEW
I recently ordered Patricia King's Glory School manual from her ministry.
Glory School - Manual or E-Manual (PDF) - Patricia King Ministries
I said to this forum that I would go through the manual and post my review.
The glory school manual contains 15 chapters.
I will post an installment of each chapter as I read it one chapter at a time.
This will give you an opportunity to comment on each chapter before I release my next summary of additional chapters.
Some opening words from Patricia king:
The Kingdom of God is so very rich and full of the Savior's love.
You are God's child, and are invited to explore its height, length, depth, and breadth through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
This course is designed to acquaint you with the truth of God's Word concerning who you are in Christ and what wonderful benefits have been granted to you as believers in Him.
You are able to access the throne of grace by faith and enjoy the very presence of God.
You are invited to lay hold of every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. He loves you and adores you.
I will start this series of segments from the manual with the introduction.
It is imperative at this critical hour that we dedicate ourselves afresh to seeking the face of the Lord and to becoming familiar with scriptural teaching concerning the spiritual realm.
It is vital that we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into heavenly perspectives that we possibly have not been comfortable with up to this time.
We are hearing of increased numbers of testimonies regarding believers engaging in spiritual experiences such as those we read about in the Bible.
Appearances of Jesus, angelic visitations, dreams, visions, trances, miracles, signs and wonders are and seem to be accruing more frequently.
It is also vitally important that we, the church, honor and submit to the Holy Spirit, diligently study the Word of God, discover what is rightfully ours in Christ, and lead the way into this new era of awareness of spiritual sensitivity and Kingdom reality. How will we ever learn to discern the counterfeit if we are not familiar with the real thing? How will the unsaved ever embrace the truth if they only know what is false?
My passion in writing this course is to awaken hunger in believers for all that Scripture offers in the area of God-encounters -- deep intimacy with Jesus and authentic Kingdom experience in His glory. Valid spiritual experience and enhanced spiritual sensitivity are awaiting believers in this hour. May we become comfortable with biblical terms and concepts such as: third heaven, throne room, heavenly places, angels, living creatures around the throne, rainbows, glory clouds, heavenly colors and gems, spirit transport, dreams, visions, and heavenly fragrance. The Lord desires to open our spiritual eyes and ears to see, to hear and to understand things that we have not even dreamt of yet in our wildest imaginations. He wants us to explore and experience this realm with Him.
We are living in the end-times and Jesus second appearing is not far away on the distant horizon. We will definitely need to live from a heavenly perspective in these last days.
There already is great turmoil and treachery in the earth and these destructive kinds of conditions will only increase as last days events transpire. But even so as it will be, we, the body of Christ, are seated with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:6). We live our lives from a different viewpoint than those without Christ. We are to be a people who are focused on the heavenly and the divine. We set our affection on Him! He is the sole object of our worship and trust. "Therefore, if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God" (Colossians 3:1). Oh, that we would truly be such a people!
How could traveling in the spirit, seeing an angel, or hanging out in the throne zone enhance our worship and devotion of the King of Kings in any way? How could such experiences possibly make us stronger Christians and deepen our intimacy with Jesus?
In this course, we will discover through Scripture that such encounters are possible to experience in a believer's walk with the Lord should the Holy Spirit lead us in that way. We will learn that the Lord actually desires us to participate with Him in supernatural Kingdom life, something that many Christians don't know anything about. As a Kingdom child there are many blessings and benefits that have been granted us. In this domain, we will find the Sovereign Lord governing over the universe. We will become acquainted with the glory of His presence and His majesty. We are invited to behold Him and His wonderful love. There is so much to discover. There is a place called heaven within this Kingdom. There are angels, chariots, fiery ones around the throne, a crystal sea, a river of life, the tree of life, the great cloud of witnesses, golden streets, and oh, so much more! The Word of God is full of information and revelation regarding the Kingdom of God, and we have been invited to discover and to partake.
Throughout the Scriptures we find times when most of the supernatural empowerments of God were witnessed during days of great tumult and tension. During Bible times when peace was in the land, you do not find too much written in the Scriptures regarding God's mighty works. Moses lived in very oppressed days and yet he experienced so many awesome acts in the presence of the Lord. Elijah, Elisha, Samson, David, Daniel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah as well as Christ's disciples and the believers in the book of Acts also witnessed and experienced many supernatural and divine occurrences. A great deal of space is given in the Scriptures to all that the Lord did during times of pressures and trials.
We are headed into some treacherous days -- days of great turmoil and hardship. God is going to prepare us for what is ahead. He will teach us how to experience Him, His Kingdom and His power in greater ways. Flying off to a conference of attending regular church services will no longer get us through the days ahead. We will need to know Him and experience Him like never before. We will definitely need to learn to walk and war as true Kingdom children, living in true Kingdom consecration, power and grace.
I can't give a time-frame when I will complete this review of The Glory School manual.
I can say this review will be given in an installment one chapter at a time until all 15 chapters are completed.
Again, you are free to comment on each installment when it is posted on this REVIEW thread.
I will not be giving any comments on any of the chapters presented until we have completed the entire school manual.
I will give my final thoughts and analysis of The Glory School manual REVIEW upon its completion.
I hope you all participate in this thread with your comments as we go through the school manual together one chapter at a time.

An understanding of the work of the cross and the eternal covenant that the Father cut with the Son is an essential foundation for experiencing heavenly glory.

I apologize for the delay as far as giving you a commentary on Patricia Kings Glory School Manuel.
It's been a longer process than I anticipated in getting through the school material.
Typing out each chapter is rather tiring, and I have found it to be too much work to look at the computer screen for 3 hours (what it takes me per-chapter to post) in order to brief you on what each chapter entirely says and the teaching that Miss King is attempting to instill into her students.
I don't enjoy starting a project and then not being able to deliver the final product.
So, with that said, I will bring this project to a close as a "fast food" summary of what the remaining 14 chapters titles are and what they briefly entail.
As I have already completed the Glory School Manuel from cover to cover, I will close out any concerns I may have, and any positive comments I also may have about this teaching manual at the close of this post. Thank you for your patience as I will bring this this thread to a conclusion at the bottom of the page.
LESSON TWO NEW CREATION REALITIES
A. The New Creation The "spirit man" of a born-again Christian is made in the very image and likeness of Christ. 1 Cor 6:17, Eph 4:24, Col 3:10
B. The Crucified Life By faith, I appropriate this death to my flesh (carnal nature) my old self. Rom 6:11-13 I am dead and my life is hidden with Christ in God. Col 3:3

F. What We Have as Covenant Children Forgiveness, Freedom, Grace, Truth, Health and Healing, Abundant Life, The Fruit of the Spirit, The Gifts of the Spirit, Magnificent Promises, Eternal Life.
LESSON THREE THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
A. Who Is The Holy Spirit? He is a person not a mere influence or power. He is referred to as part of the Godhead. Mt 28:19 He is referred to as Lord. 2 Cor3:18 He is a gift to us. Acts 2:38
B. Titles For The Holy Spirt Spirit of life. Spirit of truth. Spirit of glory. Spirit of promise. Spirit of holiness.
C. Functions Of The Holy Spirt Leads/directs. Releases power. Anointing. Baptized/filled with. Gives new birth. Dwells in. Shows us things to come. Gives gifts of tongues.

F. Developing A Prayer Time With The Holy Spirit Confession. Supplication. Adoration. Intimacy. Intercession. Thanksgiving. Praise.
I am going to have to condense the remaining 4 thru 15 chapters of the school manual in order to get thru this project and complete it in a timely manner.
LESSON FOUR Faith: THE CONNECTION TO HEAVENLY GLORY
A. Faith: The Foundation For All Spiritual Experience
B. Our Salvation Is Based On Faith Alone
C. Steps To Releasing Faith
LESSON FIVE THE WORD OF GOD: OUR BASIS FOR EXPERIENCE
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
All spiritual experience must be rooted and grounded on the foundation and plumb line of the word of God. We are to be lovers of His word and those who will cleave to it.
LESSON SIX THE REWARDS OF HOLINESS
A. What Is Holiness?
To be holy means to be set apart for God and His purposes. Once something or someone is declared holy, it is no longer to be used for mundane purposes. Holiness means "set-apartness," "sacredness." It includes moral purity and purification. Anything that is set apart as holy belongs to God and is for His purposes. Holiness is not what you do but it is who you are. Holiness is a spirit - part of God's spiritual nature.
B. How Do We Become Holy? It is God Himself who makes us holy - set us apart for Himself - spirit, soul, and body. Jesus Christ is our holiness and sanctifies us. The Holy Spirit makes us holy.
C. What Does God Love and What Does God Hate? Faith. Care for the poor, widows and orphans. Cheerful giving. Worship. Unity. Hates: Pride, haughtiness, lies. Immorality, idolatry, unforgiveness, self-righteousness.
D. Some Rewards Of Holiness Anointed with the oil of Joy. See the Lord. Everlasting life. Established hearts in God. Know the beauty of holiness. Victory and success. Prepares us to enter in an enjoy heavenly glory.
LESSON SEVEN DAILY DISCIPLINES FOR EXPERIENCING HEAVENLY GLORY Our experience in the glory is led by the Holy Spirit and is born out of relationship with Him. Daily spiritual discipline is advantageous in that it helps us to position ourselves before Him and to focus our attention on His goodness towards Him. The Bible teaches us to be disciplined and to bring our flesh under submission to the Spirit. Discipline fortifies our will and develops our character, but does not produce the glory. Experience in the glory is never earned, it is simply a gift granted by His grace and goodness and received by faith.
LESSON EIGHT SPIRITUAL MAPPING: MAPPING THE THRONE OF GRACE
It is a term mainly used to describe the study of geographical regions in areas of historical, political, and religious events in order to help determine "entry points" for demonic strongholds in those regions. It also embraces the study of godly heritage in order to aid in the discernment of the redemptive gifts in the region. Intercession strategies are brought into place in order to bring cleansing and forgiveness to a land and its peoples. This process potentially produces faith and motivation in Christians to believe for the Holy Spirit to bring an outpouring of revival and harvest in their region.
A Spiritual Exercise - Biblical Visions Of The Throne Room The Bible is full of information regarding heaven and the throne room (to long to go into detail what is written in this lesson).
LESSON NINE HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD
A. Does God Speak To His People? My sheep hear my voice. Hear what the Spirit says to the church.
B. What Are Some Of The Ways That God Speaks To His People? Still small voice. Through the Scriptures. Through other believers. Audible voice. Inner audible voice. Dreams. Open vision. Prophecy. Word of knowledge. Through angelic visitation.
LESSON TEN EXPERIENCING THE THIRD HEAVEN (part 1) The apostles Paul, John, and the prophet Isaiah had this experience.
The spiritual realm is both unseen and eternal. Two kingdoms exist in this realm. God's kingdom and Satan's kingdom. There is no time or distance in the spiritual realm.
What is heaven or the heavens? The visible universe, sky, atmosphere. The upper region where you can see the clouds, moon, and the stars.
What is the third heaven? It is the abode of God. The throne room is in this realm (the rest of this chapter is to long to go into further detail).
LESSON ELEVEN EXPERIENCING THE THIRD HEAVEN (part 2)
LESSON TWELVE ANGELIC MAJESTIES
LESSON THIRTEEN THE FIRE
LESSON FOURTEEN THE GLORY
LESSON FIFTEEN HEAVENLY PROVISION
There is much depth and information in this school manual that I could not emphasize on and write out to you in this thread due to the overload. I did find the teaching in Miss King's Glory School Manual to be thought provoking, even though I did not agree with some of it. Not that it was false teaching, but because some of the writings I was at bay with and unaware of this type of revelation. I did receive new instruction, but it remains to be seen if I would put it into practice. The orthodox and sound doctrine of what we believe the word of God teaches is foundational and correct from what I read. I suggest if you want to "dive into" this manual to learn more than what I posted in this thread, you go to Patricia Kings website and order it for yourselves. This concludes my review of the Glory School Manual.
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.
