I think we live in a fallen world...not everything happens for a reason. But God can definitely USE anything that happens in our life to glorify Him.

Yep. Even the verse we quote "All things work together for the good..." is conditional, although it's not quoted or believed like it's conditional by most Christians. The context is this happens when we allow the Spirit to make intercession for us. No yielding to the Holy Spirit in prayer, then we're not letting Him as you said VW.
God is such a master of taking what the devil meant for evil or any circumstance and it's cause and turning it to the good, that it appears God was in it from the beginning and it was his design the whole time when it wasn't. He's just that good. :)

Excellent point.
As a matter of fact there was a phrase that you used once that I have begin to use which was something like, "God is so good at turning a bad situation around it almost seems like the situation itself was meant for our good even though it wasn't."

A.J. (01-02-2016), Ezekiel 33 (01-04-2016)
The context of these verses is the realm of prayer. When we intercede with the Spirit's help we will pray out the good will of God into our situations. Without looking at the context of prayer in these verses, we are throwing the dice in the air and hoping it's God's will to make a good thing happen out of a mess. That is not at all what is meant here. That is more like a Buddhist kind of fate teaching. 26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

In other words, all things work together for good to them that love God and pray with the Spirit's help in intercession! With the Spirit's help the will of God will come into the situation.
