Yes, God's patience and His wisdom cannot be judged by us...When asked, 'What will he do?' Jesus responded...'none of your business...keep your focus on ME.' When we start to compare ourselves and judge ourselves by those around us we are going to trip..

I've always thought it was because this world belongs to the devil....it's his until Jesus' return. It's all about "who you know" and if you're pretty well acquainted with the "boss" then you're going to do pretty well.

... If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good... - Romans 12
Knowing that God will issue the appropriate punishments to the wicked, we can feel less of a compulsion to do so ourselves.

There is a lot of truth to that. However, Jeremiah (nor David) had a full understanding of Satan. Sadly, most people today do not have that revelation. That's why so much gets blamed on God's sovereignty. At least the OT men of God had enough sense to realize that eventually the wicked would reap what they sow. Too many in our day seem to believe that God is the one behind the prosperity of the wicked and He uses them for His divine mysterious purposes.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Good word VW!
I live in one of those places where the wealth is almost astounding, a normal red light will have you next to Bentleys, Porches, etc.
I've "been there, done that" with trying to figure out the wealth of the wicked.
It's only temporal folks.
