I agree Brother - I'll be 68 in a couple of weeks, and I wrestle with moderate to severe Asthma - Our church re-opened in June, and we all wear masks, use hand sanitizer, don't shake hands, and try to keep 6 feet apart...

We are cautious in the "natural," and we believe God for the "supernatural"

Except for masks, we do the same.

Paul did both too. He mentioned to use a little wine for your aches and pains (1 Tim 5:23) and raised up the young man who fell asleep and tumbled three stories to his death (Acts 20:9-10).
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

Nothing at all wrong with being cautious, especially if you feel led to be.

I'm still waiting for free covid anti-body testing as I'm pretty sure it tried to mess with me and some others I know back in January in Michigan.

Romans, Curly and Smitty, are you all going to take the vaccine once its available? Actually, anyone else here planning on doing it once its offered?

    I'm not taking the vaccine.

I probably believe in divine healing as strong as anyone in here. But if I'm in a crowd I'll wear one. Do I 'believe' I will catch it? No. But I am human and can miss it. Am I gonna throw myself off the temple just because I believe God will save me? No, I'm not going to tempt God so to speak. But if you feel you don't want to wear one, that's fine too. Lots of bold 'faith-filled' preachers declared we aren't scared of covid, and they are dead now. So to each his own. More power to you. And I'm not saying that sarcastically.

I think we have to respect those who feel the need to protect their health and not badger them or make them feel they are not trusting the Lord.

For others like myself, I think it should be a choice. Abortion, alcohol and marijuana are a choice. But mask are mandatory?

Mask are not for everyone IMO. If they protect you from it, why do I need to wear one?

We have members of my church with severe diabetes, frail elderly people and a few who have cancer. Fortunately, we had church under a tent outside since early August so they were able to sit in their cars. How could we treat them any less?

I always get a flu shot and in the past 30 years I've only had one very mild case of the flu and I don't get colds. I have a very fine Christian MD and I trust her so I will see what she has to say about it. I will say this, just because I trust traditional medicine, I certainly don't just fall in and do everything they tell me to do. I wrap my life and those of my family in prayer and will never cease to express my praise to Him for answered prayer.

There is too much badgering, publicly. Badgered if you wear a mask and if you don't.

Best part of this shakeup is I don't see churches fighting, arguing and splitting over petty stuff much, not like I have seen it in the recent years. Your mileage may vary.
