...has been struck with an outbreak...has seen three confirmed cases...
That's some 'outbreak' you feel the need to write over the top about just because you don't agree with them meeting. Nothing to see here people. Move on. Of course they're reporting on it like a major outbreak just because it's a church and the defied 'orders'.

The Church shut down for two weeks and there is contact tracing in effect by health dept. authorities to recommend quarantine procedures.
The problem is not fear, but using wisdom within a pandemic that has global ramifications. We believe and quote Psalm 91 and trust the Lord for His guidance and have been through this whole plague. The church has not shunned anyone who has decided to avoid live services and chooses to watch on-line. At least we know that the contact tracing authorities won't be knocking on our door.

Exactly, Smitty! God give us wisdom for a reason. Oklahoma has 1,829 new cases of covid in the past 24 hours.

Well, three weeks ago, several members and two staffers at the church we attended contacted the virus. This happened while following the virus protocol procedures (wearing masks, 6 feet social distancing, spaced seating, etc).
What does that tell us about the transmission of disease? Not directed at you, Smitty - just a question in general. We are seeing transmission of disease despite the protocols that supposedly protect us.

    Amen!

Jesus came to destroy him to had the power of death, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Heb 2:14,15 paraphrased)

Regardless of where you go in public places where people congregate there is a risk of contact. Total isolation is not the answer but limiting lingering where crowds gather is beneficial in cutting down the risk of infection. And of coarse, lets not forget to apply the blood of Jesus and the word of God over us (Psm 91) when we absolutely need to mingle in a large capacity of people such as Costco where we had to go shopping the other day. Also, as a side note, you can't enter any store in Washington state without wearing a mask.

We take a a lot of vitamin supplements and several that are enhanced to build up the immune system. We also got the flu shot a couple of weeks ago. Someone may say, "where's your faith brother" well, combined with prayer, and what we do, we are healthy. Why not use what's available in the natural and believe God for divine guidance as we navigate through this pandemic and current infectious outbreak. What would have happened if Joseph hadn't stored grain for seven years before the famine hit?
