The Catching Away occurs the same day as the Second Coming
OK, so you are with the U turn crowd... Jesus catches us up
in the air to meet with Him and immediately we turn right around
    and come right back.

If that were true, there would be no marriage supper of the
Lamb which clearly happens in Heaven, not on earth

We escape the wrath. We do not escape tribulation.
Yes, we will experience opposition due to being Christians
but that is not the Great Tribulation where God pours out
    His wrath upon the earth.

In Rev 3:10, Jesus is clearly saying those that keep His Word
will be kept from "the hour of trial which is coming on the
whole world" which is referring to the Great Tribulation.

Those that do not believe in the catching away of the
church will have to go thru the Great Tribulation, so
hope that werks out for ya!

How else do we get to Him? Take a plane?

Nah.....we meet Him in the air as He is coming down.

Have you read about the marriage supper?

It is total carnage here on earth.

It isn't at a nicely set table with linen napkins, crystal, and china....if so, can you provide a scripture that says such?

Yes, we will experience opposition due to being Christians

'Great tribulation' means 'big pressure'. Jesus was simply saying that there would be big pressure in these days.

    'Wrath' means 'wrath'.

They are not the same thing.

We have been promised tribulation.....we will be saved from wrath.

We'll be kept.....like Daniel was, like Shadrach, Meschech and Abednego were, like Noah was....etc.

But make no mistake, we will be here during all tribulation. The problem with the doctrine you teach (7 years rapture to escape the woes of tribulation) cannot be preached to everyone.

Could you preach it to the African pastor who had his entire family burned and hung from a tree because of their faith? Or to the families of the Christians being beheaded because of their faith?

No, you really couldn't, could you?

If a doctrine cannot encompass ALL of us, it is useless.

Yes, of course... let's argue and get in strife and just get all sinful

I've already posted some quotes from God's Word that your replies have indicated that you do not believe.

So, apparently you pick and choose which versus you believe and which ones you don't.

So, there's only one things left to say... and this is something everyone can agree on as it is beyond a shadow of anyone's doubt, and that is... we are going to find out someday aren't we?

So, just sit tight and enjoy the great tribulation that you are convince you are going thru.

Of course not. Let's discuss and learn from each other.

I believe everything the Word of God says.
Have you found scripture to prove your view of the marriage supper?

So, apparently you pick and choose which versus you believe and which ones you don't.
No. I have studied this subject since 1996 and I believe every verse of the Bible.

    I understand, Farmtruck.

The doctrine of 7 years in heaven before the Second Coming cannot stand up under intense scrutiny.

I don't blame you for refusing to discuss further.

So, I don't blame you for not wanting to talk about versus you have already decided that you will not believe.

Apparently, some versus are true and others aren't.

So, we'll find out one day now won't we?

I do believe them. None of them say there is a seven year period in heaven before the Second Coming.

Care to show the verses that describe the marriage supper in heaven?

    You can't. They don't exist.

    Revelation 19:17-18

    And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

The above describes the marriage supper.

Observe what the Word actually says, not what others tell you it says.
