Thread: Was your church closed today?

    Was your church closed today?

And if so, will it stay closed until April or thereabouts?

Most of the seeker friendly churches closed for 2 weeks. Mine was open but light attendance. Casinos remain open as usual.

Many of the "megachurches" here were/are holding staggered services, as to keep the numbers within the mandated range (gatherings no more than 250 people, or 500 in NY for example)

Nopers. We will continue to remain open. Today was a national day of prayer and we found the day most important to stay open.

We are forced to watch our service on-line because our governor signed an executive order limiting public meetings to a max of 250 people in any given setting.
I heard that that number has been changed to 100 people but I can't find any documentation to back that up yet.

We met as usual, though there were only a dozen of us. Normally we have 30-50. Good time, though. Love the fellowship (and the refreshments afterward). I spoke a bit about the need to be not just physically prepared for times like this, but also spiritually prepared. Given some posts I see on FB, I'm not sure most Christians ARE spiritually prepared. 100 rolls of TP isn't the type of security we should be seeking.
