But how does one identify verses from the OT that contain verbs in the permissive sense and verses from the OT that do not ? Can I find that in an online tool somewhere ?
Young's analytical concordance was published in 1879. That's a long time ago, are there any modern scholars that agree with him on that point ?

Anyway, thanks Fuego. It is nice for someone to recognize what we believe God has allowed us to learn and pass on.
I used to have an Instagram account. I wonder if it is still active.

Here's Robert Young's translation of Deuteronomy 28 from 1862, 17 years before he published that concordance :
Deuteronomy 28 - YLT Bible - Bible Study Tools
It doesn't contain the permissive tense of verbs in the list of curses. I find it strange that he wouldn't revise the YLT translation named after him if he later became certain that Deut 28 ought to be translated that way.

I have no desire to get into any long discussions on this subject. I have laid out all the proof concerning the "permissive sense" in several books, most especially the one that is the subject of the linked Instagram post. I am currently writing a book on God's wrath that gives even more explanation on this point.
And let me add, people on Facebook who never read my books but want to debate also have accused me of just wanting to sell books because I won't spend precious hours debating something I have thoroughly written on in several books. I make no significant profit from my books and our ministry gives many of them away to people want but can't afford them. Furthermore, some of them are free .pdf downloads.
So please forgive me if I really do not want to use my precious time fussing over this topic.

I'm not trying to debate the topic with you. Pointing me to some answers to my questions would do.

I found some Hebrew verb forms here :
Hebrew Verb Tenses Help Tutorial
WHAT DO THE HEBREW VERB TENSES MEAN?
When accessing information about verbs throughout our Old Testament concordances, you'll find numerous references to Hebrew verb tenses such as Qal or Hiphil. The following list identifies each verb tense and it's part in speech via a comparative example in English using the the verb "to kill."
Simple
Qal (active) - he killed Niphal (passive) - he was killed
Intensive - giving force or emphasis; emphasizing
[very in the very same man is an intensive adverb]
Piel (active) - he killed indeed! / he slaughtered Pual (passive) - he was killed indeed! / he was slaughtered Hithpael (reflexive) - he killed himself
Causative - expressing causation, as certain verbs
[fell is a causative verb meaning to cause to fall]
Hiphil (active) - he caused to kill Hophal (passive) - he was caused to kill
So I'm going to apply that information when looking up the verb forms of Deuteronomy 28 according to the Blue Letter Bible search engine and I'm going to post them, whatever they are. I'll start at verse 20 and stop at verse 29 since that makes sense.
Deut 28:20 "The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.
Send : piel - active
21 The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from the land which you are going to possess.
make : no entry
22 The Lord will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation, with severe burning fever, with the sword, with scorching, and with mildew; they shall pursue you until you perish.
strike : hiphil - active
23 And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron. 24 The Lord will change the rain of your land to powder and dust; from the heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed.
change : Qal - active
25 "The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them; and you shall become troublesome to all the kingdoms of the earth.
cause : Qal - active
26 Your carcasses shall be food for all the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and no one shall frighten them away. 27 The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed.
strike : hiphil - active
28 The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart. 29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.
strike : hiphil - active

LOL, anyway, all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. HE is the true champion of God's character. I am but a humble servant who is hopefully doing His will. My aim will always be to please Him. But it does help to know that people are being blessed and helped by our ministry.
