Also, if I have time, when I get home, I am going to look for a powerpoint slide from a church members meeting that I had in which I addressed everyone's complaints. I got some doozies that I can add to that top 25 above.

They never came back. My associate pastor discovered that they were "shopping around" for churches so he told me, "Pastor, don't worry about them. They are simply looking for the church with the best price."
You dodged 3 bullets there

As promised. We had a meeting (insisted to me by the leaders due to hearing a lot of complaints). I asked everyone to submit their "likes and dislikes" on paper and I would address them the following Sunday. I gathered all the papers and created a slideshow and presented it to the people and dealt with it. Here is the first of several.
As you can see, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Some on one side loved the music (some even joined the church because they liked the music) and others pretty did not like it.

Before I take off, here is one more fro that 2010 meeting slideshow:

What they failed to understand was that I was NOT letting them participate because they were not coming on time. People seem to want things done in reverse. Oh well.

And I'll never forget how people complained about not having a church picnic - and wanted me to organize it and get it all going. I told them that as long as they want the pastor to organize the church picnic, there will not be one.
Needless to say, those folks are no longer a part of our congregation.

One other thing. Some of the people who complained about not being able to participate on the worship team I did later allow them to come on. They were excited at first but then later on they just stopped showing up for practice. No reasons given.
People are a trip

Saab. Many vehicle repairs can cost thousands of dollars in unexpected expense, now may be the time to consider an extended service plan for your vehicle.
