    But if people come for church, a couple of beers improves the sermon, VanHall joked. - Seriously???

    1 Peter 5:8 King James Version (KJV)
    8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

    That scripture is being neglected these days.

    Ephesians 5:17-20
    (17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
    (18) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
    (19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
    (20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

    This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

    Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

    I highly doubt this pastor is saved.
    If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

    Soon they'll have rooms in church where people receive medical attention including free marijuana for their pain. And then real wine at communion.

    David Wilkerson wrote a book “Sipping Saints” about 40 years ago. With pot smoking going legal we will be seeing toking saints.

    Yeah, the Jews never put marijuana (or similar) in their wine. And when they did, the Lord was quick to condemn it.

    He did tell them to drink wine and fruit punch when they brought their tithe before the Lord, though. The latter was a bit stronger than the former, actually. Not like our wine, more like varying strengths of today's beer.
