Yeah, I noticed that. It is basically at the beginning of the article. As soon as I saw that I knew it would all be down hill as far as the article was concerned. But, after reading crap.... er..... I mean material by MacArthur, Hanegraaff, and numerous other "apologists" I think I have built an immunity against anger when I read these things which was not the case in the early 90s and 2000s when I used to get offended.

Actually, after years of debating many of these types of people I have almost come to feel orry for them. They are often joyless and angry individuals whose only affirmation in life is attack others.

Yeah, Pulpit & Pen are a bunch of hacks producing what I call yellow journalism apologetics. Even cessationists don't like them because of their lack of ethics and standards. By the way, "kenosis" doesn't teach that Jesus ceased to be God while He was on Earth. It says that He emptied Himself of some of His divine attributes and functioned as a man while on Earth. In doing so He was dependent on the Holy Spirit in His supernatural ministry, and He had to eat, drink, sleep, and do all of the things that mortals have to do to survive on Earth. The doctrine was formed in the 19th century in response to bible critics who questioned the deity of Christ based on His apparent limitations. It was later incorporated into Pentecostal theology in order to understand the need for Holy Spirit empowerment in the believer in following Jesus' example. Fundamentalists were fine with the doctrine in defending fundamentalism, but when Charismatics come along and employ it suddenly it's heresy.

Like a lot of 'believers', what they hold to in theory they deny practically speaking.

They just want to fight. Fighting, feuding fundaMENTALists. They cant stand charismatics, cant stand unorthodoxy and most certainly cant stand themselves...as evidenced by 2nd bapdist, 3rd babdist, 4th babdist, 5th babdist....
