At least the tv is a form of outreach, meaning it's viewable to people that don't attend the meetings held in the church building. If everything had been "in church" then the number would have been more significant.

Jesse Duplantis was saved when he saw Billy Graham on TV.

One thing about the figures is that TV is inherently more expensive than what they tagged as 'outreach'. And TV reaches more people. So you can't really tell how many are being reached by the dollars alone. I'm not defending anything as I didn't even look at the link, but just speaking in generalities.

Ambiguous might describe the results dollar for dollar. As it is I cant relate to any of those numbers, I’ll leave that to the big guys. Our church attendance runs 4-5,000.

I personally would like to more percentage put on missions. As Fuego pointed out, TV time costs alot. If I were in charge of the budget, I would review the TV markets and see if there was over saturation, e.g., why broadcast 3 times a day? There are so many local ministries that that can do so much with a few hundred dollars a month.

Everyone can't do outreach through television but a big ministry can. Maybe Christianity needs some very visible figures. But if we really do then those figures have a lot of responsibility in terms of how they handle everything.

Nothing replaces a one on one relationship. AND you must consider the message coming out of these ministries as well.

I got saved by watching Fred Price on television which led me to WOFICC where I received Christ. If it weren't for Dr. Price's teaching the Gospel like I'd never heard before, it probably would've taken several more years for me to make my way to a Church.
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

You can avoid major, expensive repair costs with an extended service plan for your Scion. Many vehicle repairs can cost thousands of dollars in unexpected expense, now may be the time to consider an extended service plan for your vehicle.
