I'd say they are being too critical of others, too much into demon manifestations (meaning some of it is just psychological) and hung up on points of theology. This time it's their particular interpretation of what a "baptism in fire" means when Jesus talks about that in the gospels that leads them to denounce every impartation of what is referred to as a "baptism in fire" as not being of God. Sadly this is often an effect of movements trying to be much holier and much more correct than all the others, they become correspondingly exclusivist and critical of others.

Heb 12 tells us that God is a consuming fire, God's Spirit manifested on Pentecost in tongues of fire and we are told in 1 Thes 5:19 not to quench the Spirit. The Greek word means to literally quench as in extinguish a fire. He also makes his ministers flames of fire in Heb 1.

It's a good word. We have all been anointed and need to walk in what He has given us, not so much what is being marketed or offered.

    Receive! From Him.
