I wasn't there to record the frequencies, neither are they noted in the bible. Again, are you serious?

As serious as you are about asking if aspirin should be incorporated into worship.

Again..God integrated music into the worship..not much train hopping there..and you might be right but you didn't start this thread to actually discuss that it was a possibility at all, did you..

No way..i am just acknowledging that I must have misunderstood the intent of the thread..

If "vibrations and notes that are in perfect frequency" amount to "the manifest power of God" then anyone would be able to have the power of God manifest apart from Christianity and apart from any religion, including new agers, atheists etc. When we dislocate positive spiritual things from Christianity and make them available on a general, neutral basis then that is one very good definition for New Age.

If it came down simply because they shouted at the right vibration to make the walls crumble then the same would have happened if some army had done the same while having Jerusalem under siege.

The Bible tells us the reason why the walls of Jericho fell :

Heb 11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.

According to New Agers, faith is a neutral spiritual force that can be employed by the wielder for anything he or she desires. The Bible teaches that real faith is faith in God, is a gift from God and operates within his will. Joshua and the Israelites had faith in the word given to them by God and God worked his power accordingly, upon their acting in faith on that word.

It was, in context appropriate to ask that.

No Quest, you jumped from "praise" to "music", as you should know the two are not the same. Don't cry foul when you muddy the water.

I am a little surprised at the responses to this thread, I think I should change the thread to "New Age has Crept into the Church", the original title was a question: "New Age Creeping into the Church?"
