103-Year-Old Woman Banned from Her Life-Long Church
Here we go again!!
http://www.fox2detroit.com/news/20099006-story
ATHENS, Ga. - A 103-year-old Georgia woman, who said she was kicked out of her life-long church in Elberton, is causing a schism in her small church.
Genora Hamm Biggs said she and the current pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Tim Mattox, have disagreed over his preaching style, which Biggs characterizes as a "Holiness style" since he was hired 6 years ago. Biggs told FOX 5 News that they are a Baptist church and that type of preaching doesn't belong in her church.
"At one point, he had a crew in here and they were hollering and falling out in the middle of the floor. We don't do that in the Baptist Church," said Biggs.

At least this one is obvious...if the police had to be called she was obviously causing a real issue..change is hard for people.

So...should she, at 103 years old and a lifelong member of that church, leave and find another church?

Should the whole congregation and pastor conform to what makes HER comfortable in church because she is 103?

I would probably reach out to her and try to present the truth of scripture to her regarding Pentecost and/or lively worship..even at 103 the Holy Spirit baptism is still available..
But we don't know how much effort this pastor or other members HAVE made to help her adjust to the changes..

Sounds like revival has broken out in that Baptist church. The move is on.
