What is the real motive

He will likely get convicted...but I am not so sure I don't believe him...it sounds like he was troubled based on the statement that he often has trouble sleeping at night....and takes this in excess for a sleep aide...let's see if other facts emerge like other drugs, or a motive...

This article cites a large percentage of sleepwalkers turning violent...50%

But I think unless he has a verifiable history of sleepwalking this defense will not work...but if they had an argument before bed or he was extremely anxious about something else, and he overmedicated to sleep....it IS possible....

Either way..there are two broken hearted families right now, not to mention their church family...

They will check his browser history to see if he's looked up "sleep medication causing violence" for something like that. If he did, he's toast.
