MacArthur should be publicly scolded for cessationism which is of course false and not supported by the New Testament.
And, yes the Holy Spirit is grieved at the lies John MacArthur is teaching claiming God has changed and is no longer willing to use His power to enable people to get free from satanic attacks and influence.
The man is not qualified to be in the ministry!

Actually, there is no "ministry of correction". He can be safely ignored.
Correction may proceed out of other legitimate ministry, teaching, prophecy, etc. but it is only a component of the gift, fruit, not the gift itself.
Anyone who thinks they are called to the "ministry of correction" is deluded. Macarthur is just one of many, happens to be a cessationist on top of it but there are plenty of "correctors" out there. We may even have one or two here.
A ministry that focuses on the faults of others is really not ministry.

Pastor John was stunned as he probably thought he was going to be shot ? Call Benny Hinn and ask for some security pointers. He has half the mafia at his side when he travels. Just kidding. But they are some big dudes. Wheezer could do this ?

And there is that.
I was referring to Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers and Evangelists. Those are the ministries God gave us, I'm sure men can create more. I have been called to correct others! Ahhh, okay, good luck with that BUT some do seem to get away with it, seem to, anyway. I was referring to Macarthur, I don't know if the man at his meeting has other ministry duties. Maybe they are called to correct each other..uh..wait a minute...

I've known those who were firmly convinced we were mandated to use the rod of iron (aka the tongue) as correction to bring about the Kingdom.
