My wife and I left a good church that was blessing us because we could no longer support the Senior Pastors vision and not because there was sin but we did not feel to go in that direction

Paul told Titus and Timothy to ordain or appoint leaders

Was there something wrong about the direction? If not, can a person stay because they go to worship the Lord and minister and receive teaching and not really care about the direction of a vision per se?

For instance, I really like where I go to church. If the pastor had a vision that I didn't necessarily agree with, would I let that get in my way all things being equal? Do I really care about 'the vision' per se if there is nothing morally wrong with it, etc, but yet still in line with the Word, etc?

I think I would stay at my church.

An other question would be "what is the alternative to staying"

I understand your viewpoint and generally speaking I would encourage people to stay as no church is perfect.
We felt that God was leading us personally that way and so we left out of respect for the church and to allow the SP to go in their direction. Last thing we wanted was to cause any division.
