Immediate public baptism doesnt work under all circumstances but it seems normal for the Jews of that time and region, from John the baptist and through the book of Acts.

I couldn't care less where in the process it happens as long as it happens. As Colonel said, maybe they didn't manifest until then. Maybe it wasn't known until then. They certainly didn't manifest when I was saved, so no reason to think I needed anything cast out of me. All in due time.
How true. There is the very real possibility that this just occurred simultaneously with her being baptized, and perhaps why there was all this explanation going on.

    Thanks for that.

Sometimes demons get afraid when something spiritually positive happens like salvation, spirit filling or baptism. Or just the presence of God or the onlaying of hands for whatever reason.

This is correct. My daughter experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit and unknown to her and to any of us, four demons she had harboured for ten years erupted into action. When I realized what was happening, we got her deliverance right away. Today she is free and serving God with her life!

Torben simply teaches getting back to the basics of Christianity. When we respond to the great commission in the same way that the early church did, shouldn't we expect the exact same results? Since I have started practicing the basic principles of Christ I have seen the same results. One woman we baptized in a bathtub because it was during the cold season, and we had similar results as what you saw in the video. It wasn't quite as dramatic, but it was loud and they came out. Water baptism was a very strong and important part of the gospel in the book of Acts. Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch are a wonderful example. One moment it says that Philip preached Jesus to him, and the next words out of the guys mouth were "See, here is water. What keeps me from being baptized?" Couple that with the fact that 3000 were baptized on the day of pentecost, and the fact that Paul and Silas as escaped prisoners baptized an entire household at what was probably about 3 or 4 a.m. in the morning. There was no "Well first you have to go through the "New Believer's class" or "Next month we will have our baptism service". Every case presented in the book of Acts was immediately. ASAP.
I have practiced that for years now. When I came to Christ and started reading the bible it was me that told the pastor that I needed to be baptized. God made it that clear to me. One of you stated that "It doesn't have to be a spectacle". Have you ever delivered someone from demons? They don't normally come out without a fight.
Look at Acts 8:7- 7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

The public display of the power of God is always a good thing. Jesus is King! At His name demons have to flee.

Maybe if the whole church started getting back to the basics, and waited on the Holy Spirit during baptisms, we wouldn't see a church full of people still struggling with the demons from their past. Just my humble .02 of course. I am going to follow the only example that we can trust in all matters of salvation-God's word. If we simply follow what is written in His word we will never go wrong. We don't need theological debates on why it is or isn't correct, we just need to follow the example and trust in seeing the exact same results.

I have seen them manifest in people who were just in the same room during intense prayer, deep communion with the Holy Spirit. More than once I have observed when the Spirit is moving certain folks have become fidgety and had to get up and leave the room. Greater is He who is in you is a wonderful thing!

It can amount to a carnal reaction as well.

And in getting baptized for the forgiveness of sins, probably referring to...?

    Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

That word remission is also translated forgiveness throughout the NT also, so it wouldn't be unscriptural to quote it as for the forgiveness of sins.
gee fuego all i did was ask a question......

    Not necessarily.

1 Cor 4:18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

1 Cor 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
