Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson is an absolutely straight arrow. I've heard her speak a number of times.

We can take what she says as truth.

Yes, she was very direct and to the point to what is happening at Daystar. Even saying airing her program on Joni's network may have brought disgrace to her ministry. Laura Lynn had no choice but to remove it from Daystar to protect the integrity of her own programing.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear of other ministries dropping coverage of their programs from being aired on Daystar as well.
The best thing Joni could do at this point is to bring reconciliation to this whole ordeal to keep her legacy from bring tarnished. She needs to confess that she was in the wrong, there was an injustice instigated against Jonathan and Suzi, ask for their forgiveness, resign, and make Jonathan Lamb the president of Daystar to save the network from going under.
Anything less than this will continue to give the devil a foothold in and upon Daystar and bring irreparable damage to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (as far as sinner are concerned). Why would the lost want to embrace Christ and Christianity if all they see is scandal and hypocrisy on a major Christian network?
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

I sincerely hope other ministries remove themselves from day star but the exposure they get from Daystar generates huge incomes. We will know them by their fruit, right?

What's more important? Integrity or Income???

The love of money is the root of all evil. There are large ministries and churches that use the Daystar platform to generate their multimillion-dollar operational budgets. Without that the sort of exposure, well, it is hard to believe they could keep their heads above water.
So, it would lead me to believe that the revenue they rely on to come in to cover expenses, would overshadow integrity in some cases. I admire Laura Lynn for choosing integrity over compromise at the cost of possibly losing donations.

Hubby says his only issue is whether Jonathan would have agreed to continue with the "coverup," if he had been named President/CEO of Daystar?

And if so, that speaks volumes about his integrity and willingness (or lack thereof) to expose what happened to his daughter.

I never thought of that. Interesting thought. Hmmmm....

Apparently, Laura Lynn has done a Part2 to her first statement. I haven't watched it, but it's sure interesting reading the comments.

It's a good question. I would like to see a order of events from the first time the parents knew their daughters was abused.
I did read they went to the police but nothing eventuated. It's also possible they trusted Marcus and Joni to do the right thing and it devolved from there

    I just saw this

Anyone who participated in a cover up, had knowledge of child abuse and did not report it to the authorities is guilty of a crime. That includes the parents.

It sounds like they (all parties) live in another world of their making. Crazy town.
