Bill Johnson't wife Beni went home to be with the Lord...
Be praying for their family. She had cancer for awhile and finally succumbed to it.

Obviously very sad for Bill and Bethel church.
I heard she had cancer via the christian news sites and calls by Bethel for massive prayer where probably hundreds of thousands were praying for her.
They also declared they are to be a cancer free zone - nothing wrong with that as cancer is a horrible disease.
It will be a hard one to process for many in the Bethel Church and others who followed Bill Johnson.

I saw the first announcement late last night. Sad for the family... happy for her.

Even though the struggle was horrible. Imagine being in pain and the next second opening your eyes and you are in paradise forever free from suffering

Hid dad also died from cancer. Hence his 'cancer free zone' and his battle against it.

That makes sense. You don't want to see others die from cancer
I'm not part of the Bethel movement so looking from outside and asking the question but have also contemplated when it happened with other well known leaders who died.
Many have been healed from cancer with only small numbers of people praying yet when hundreds of thousands are praying for a well known leader they still die.
I don't have an answer but it makes you ponder

I actually asked the Lord about that today. How so many can be praying yet the prayer go unanswered. Where are we missing it? We certainly know His will was not for her to die with cancer. So how are we missing it? That many praying and nobody was able to get hold of God in faith. It does make you ponder and look for an answer.
James said that if we ask in faith but waver let not that person think they shall receive anything of the Lord. Well the opposite of that would be if we ask in faith and don't waver, then we are assured the answer. So I can only come to the conclusion that no one truly got hold of God with faith. I know that won't be popular with some, maybe even yourself, but the Bible says what it says.

Well actually that's a reasonable answer

I disagree.
We all have to die from our earthly body (except those living when Jesus comes). For some it is a heart attack, an accident, a stroke and some cancer.
Now she is totally healed, Gods answer may be totally different from what we expect.
