Latest Stat On Pastors Biblical Worldview

A new study from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University has found that just 37% of Christian pastors in the United States have a biblical worldview, demonstrating that spiritual awakening is "needed just as desperately in our pulpits as in the pews," according to the pollster.

The nationwide study of about 1,000 Christian pastors found that just slightly more than a third (37%) of the U.S. pastors hold a biblical worldview. The majority (62%) possess a hybrid worldview known as Syncretism.

The study, released Thursday, showed that 41% of senior pastors — as compared to 28% of associate pastors — have a biblical worldview. Further, only 13% of teaching pastors and 12% of children's and youth pastors have a biblical worldview.

Mealy-mouthed, mushy pastors bending over and caving over very serious issues and really not understanding firmly what sin is. This is a big problem.

Jeremiah was right in saying these are pastors who do not bind the wounds of His people.

Many have been liberalized in seminary or given in to being culturally relevant.

I read a recent survey that many pastors even doubt the resurrection.

I have friend who was a long time member of a Pentecostal church in CA. When the pastor retired, and young couple took over and within 2 months, announced to the members they were going to make the church a "a church for millennials". They did away with alter calls, pulpits, hired a musician who wore a necklace with a statue of Buddha, got rid of the drummer and replaced him with an open lesbian.

Im trying to make a long story short, but needless to say, the church split. It was a painful disaster.

The only problem with all the ones mentioned in your post is they aren't saved. No pastor doubts the resurrection if they're saved. And that young couple wasn't saved. You will know them by their fruit.

Classic Issac Air Freight. Anyone remember Dan Rupple and Dave Toole?

This thread seems to relate to "start your own religion" so here is Dan and Dave in Religion Store.

Way cool! Forgot about those guys. We saw them at Creation Festival '85, '86, '87. Great memories.
