It's best to wait. I hope for the best. One thing I spotted between the lines is that some who are close to the situation would benefit from his fall, takeover the ministry. Either way, I hope it gets resolved quickly. it's an unfortunate mess.

These are serious allegations if there's any truth to them. It is hard for me to fathom that Perry Stone would commit such outright outlandish acts of deviant sexual behavior within the open scope of his ministry without knowing the consequences he would pay. Such as losing his ministry platform, wife, and the public shameful discord he would create for himself. He couldn't be this stupid could he? John's right, it's best to let the dust settle and hope it proves to not be true. I really don't want to see him fall. I don't want to see the devil take him out. I'm beside myself that he could actually do these things and think that he could get away with it. It just doesn't make any sense.

Good comments Smitty
We all agree looking in ...why on earth would he do that
But history shows that even well known successful ministers operate in a bubble and can lose site of simple plain scriptures of how to live because they are in 'supernatural mode' or
try to live in this mode constantly because they have a audience and assume Jesus lived like this.
Actually Jesus did not live like this and there are plenty of scriptures to prove it - he hungered, he thirsted, he walked everywhere in hot climate and got tired.
This is not popular but why did the Lord allow his apostles and many of his anointed men to suffer or go to prison...to keep them grounded and in reality - it stops them from going into sin and error.
The modern ministers and church don't understand this - its all about success, power, getting more revelation and anointing.
It's impossible trying to live in constant 'supernatural' without going cooky in this life.
I can guarantee if the successful modern minister actually went to prison or were persecuted for their faith in a real way many would quickly become balanced.
BTW I love the supernatural and the church needs more of it but it also needs leaders who can live a normal life and mix with people. Notice Jesus ate with the lowest people in society.
Big ministries need to do humble acts like personally feed the homeless 3 times a year out of their busy successful schedule we will see a different type of minister.
Many church leaders are told to delegate the 'lower' tasks to others while they do the important things like learning to be a CEO.

Last year, our Associate Pastor had to be fired. He had entered into an affair in the church he was pastoring in another province, but "repented" and gone through "restoration." He and his wife and son came out here for his wife to take the position of children's pastor in our church... Well, stuff happened with the senior pastor and he was fired and all staff resigned... They (children's pastor and her husband) stayed in town, but went to attend another church...
A couple years later, this man and his wife came back to our church, just to attend.... we thought.... then he asked if he could preach once in awhile to keep his credentials... and eventually was hired as Associate Pastor.
Then ............... a woman from the congregation went to our Senior Pastor and provided evidence that this guy was trying to enter in to an inappropriate relationship with her... You gotta think, Is he NUTS???? Apparently, his so called "restoration" didn't go deep enough. His wife kicked him out this time.
If the roots and the demons aren't dealt with properly, they will do it again and again.
Just sayin'.
I hope that all made sense.

Lots of quotes in that post.
Even on a local church level people are going crazy. The church I just left had a guy who had several prophecies about future ministry. He left his pregnant wife and three children to fulfill his ministry. I asked his wife was this the first time he cheated? She said every time she got pregnant, he strayed into affairs. I told her let him go for good He does not want to be restored.

Good Point!
I think credentials are more of a denominational (Assembly of God) or network of churches (Vinyard) thing, that are given out to a perspective preacher as a representative of a particular church organization. Of coarse, that document doesn't carry any anointing on it nor does it carry the call of God on it to the person that it was issued too. Credentials are as man-made as much as a dead religious clergy is. I don't recall Jesus giving the 70 in Luke 10 "paper credentials" to go and preach the gospel, cast out demons, and heal the sick.
At the same time I'm not knocking them. I have up-to date credentials from Victory New Testament Fellowship International and have been ordained by them since 2004.
But I don't need that piece of paper to go stand on a street corner and preach the gospel, pass out tracts, pray for the sick, or lead a person to Christ. But the credentials did help me get into the county jail to minister to inmates, marry people, officiate a funeral, preach at the mission, and preach at a local church. For me, having credentials is simply having a tool to open doors for kingdom opportunities (knowing that the Lord is really the door opener). Not sure why I even posted this stuff. Anyways, enjoy your afternoon.
