Where do you guys get this? LOL! My kids went to Catholic school and the priest attached to those two parishes were there the whole time. In fact, Father Roman (in their elementary school) retired after 20 years in that church.

We are talking about Methodists, and not Catholics. And I'm pretty sure a Methodist pastor told me that about moving every 3 years. This was many years ago though.
Do Methodist Pastors Move All The Time? | Loganville, GA Patch
... but I hope you have gained a thumbnail understanding of how Methodist pastors move. It's not random or pre-programmed. It does not happen every four years. It happens every year, but most of the time the outcome is that a pastor stays put. The process is highly intentional and covered in prayer from beginning to end.
So it's not 3 years like I thought, or 4 years like some thing. It's yearly, but they all don't move. But there is a valid reason for people thinking Methodist pastors move all the time.

I have a cousin who's a catholic priest in Chicago. It's something they started doing in more recent years.
I'm not too sure why but i wonder if it could possibly be to all the molestation cases they had

That's not the trend here for either Methodists or Catholics.
