Lol...no, had no idea they would be digging anything. There is a mandate in Michigan where everybody's gas meter now has to be on the outside of their house and I was told it would just take an hour or so to remove the inside meter and put a new one on the outside.
But apparently for some folk they are also replacing old gas lines. Some people didn't have to have any holes dug, my neighbor had to have one on their front lawn and I was one of the lucky ones who had to have two holes dug because of a weird tie in to the main from another neighbor.
Have they hit your area yet?

Lol...2 of them! Almost lost that tree but I think it'll be okay. They did do a nice job of covering it back up and then reseeding the areas but I lost a large chunk of curb on one of them so when it rained some of the dirt and seed fell into the street. They said they'll be replacing that curb soon tho.

Fill those up with dirt before you throw the seed in.

Germination rate on bare spots is going berserk! The lawn is wonderfully thick and green. Fertilizer worked it's work. Mower deck set to a notch under 3". Looking good.

My son visited last night and took his shoes off to walk on the lawn. I asked him how he liked it. He says, "soft!". Reseeds are growing strong.
