If your neighbors are big cats and wolves I'd probably stick with the .45.

No way I’m going in there without the 1911 on my side. Mich has an archery season that is ruled “rustic”, no firearms for backup, except for those with carry permit. And that is step 2. Just picked up a drop leg tactical holster for sitting in the ground blind.

Nah, you got the "good stuff" you should see what they pass down to the National Guard!

Air Force has better EVERYTHING! I tell young people who are thinking about serving that if I had it to do all over again, knowing what I know now I would go Air Force instead of Army.

Have you met my good friend and brother in Christ, Lt Col Mark Andrews?

Almost finished with the first 50rds and my right wrist is a bit achey today. Yup, now I’m sure this is the proper handgun.

Finding which ammo is best. Looking at the results of a 20yd session off the bench. Upper group was 5 shots grouping at 1.85”. The lower group in the orange circle was 3 shots measuring 1.80”. Still only have 70 rounds run through it and flawlessly. The recommended break-in space is about 500 rounds. I only had to buy 2 brands of ammo before finding which is more accurate.

This handgun is Rock Island Armory’s most basic of the 1911 .45 auto’s. This is as true to mil-spec colt .45 auto for a reproduction G.I. Model as you can find.
