My handgun ammo (.45 auto) was gone and unobtainable almost immediately after the 2020 election scandal.

That's not on my list but would imagine it's scarce being top home defense weapon. I'm getting a box of 45 this week. I need practice.

Since ammo is so expensive and hard to get, I bought my husband and both son in laws an itargetpro for target practice. They all said it was great to enjoy getting to take target practice and it not cost anything plus they don't have to go to the practice range.
It has served a good purpose for them.

Airguns are good practice. For me, to maintain a required skillset for CPL everyday carry, nothing works like the weapon you carry. Plus, I get a rush shooting it.

The nice thing about the itargetpro is they shoot their own pistol or shotgun. They like being able to practice with the same gun they would carry or use and it has the same "kick" -so I have been told. I've never fired a gun in my life but everyone around me has concealed carry license around here.

When I lived in Austin, no CCL was necessary, you could carry as long as you were heading to another county. You could also drink and drive.

I think they ruined TX with all these new laws.

I know there are many who do carry that don't have a CCL. I assume many of those are the bad guys with guns. Everyone I know that carries has a concealed carry license. I never see guns but just know they do carry or at least have them in their vehicles. If one gets stopped for a traffic violation they always notify the office they do have a weapon in the car and give them their concealed carry license.
The other people are the ones I would be afraid of.

I was speaking to a brother in the Lord I'd known for about 15yrs while in our favorite gun shop. I had just received my CPL and asked if he had one. He said no, didnt need one yet carried concealed as much as anyone. Here in Michigan we will have a million CPL holders by the end of the year. Trouble is, many don't or wont carry. Why do I say this? In our class of 10 maybe 4 of us could actually shoot and some trained with a loaner pistol.

I have yet to be pulled over while carrying (which is all the time) but have worked alongside the local sheriff in my court work and made it first priority to show the CPL card and DL, telling them what I carry and where it is on my body.
