Ah yes, but here the "city" we are not allowed to "discharge" firearms or shoot any weapon (bow and arrow, bb gun, etc) at a non-stationary target. So frustrating. We had a deer with a gangrenous broken leg... it was pretty evident he was suffering, yet there was nothing we could do as we watched him hobble around. He was finally taken out by coyotes in our backyard a few years ago. Because he was in our backyard, he was our responsibility. We called a dead animal removal company... but I said that the next time it happens we're going to have a wildlife science experiment and see how quickly it gets eaten up.
