Yeah, they're all gathering up in Ferguson Missouri getting ready to riot!
But... that's a very good point. Apparently, it's OK to offend the Japanese and the Germans.

Well, it is fiction. Probably wouldn't be made if it was about gay totalitarians.
But it is very intriguing and "bad guys" are really bad.
"The man in the high castle" is a mysterious man who had films (not motion picture, but more like documentaries I think) about pre-WWII US and the films are making their way around in bootleg form and of course.....are banned. The nazis and Japanese both want them.

Interesting premise Catchy...the world would surely have been a totally different place if they had won.

I've not read this, but I've been hearing a LOT of good about the program. I hope it makes it way to other sources.
I've always been intrigued by the "alternate history" genre.

I'm on episode 4 (watched the first episode many months ago, and they released the second episode a coupla weeks back). The full 10 episodes were released yesterday. It is excellent.
BTW, this was a very popular book that came out a while ago (I never heard of it).

Wow!!! That's ten hours! Does she have a life? I'm taking my time and savoring each episode. I have yet to watch the last few episodes of The Dollhouse because I don't want it to end.

is that the Josh Whedon Dollhouse? I started it, but didn't finish.. hm.. maybe I'll have to go back and watch again.
Now, Firefly.. I've done marathons on that!
It's a guy.. and he's Mr Movie Buff.
Btw, Philip Dick was a raging atheist. hates religion in all manner and form, especially Christians. (if I'm remembering the right SF guy.)

Yes, Josh Whedon's Dollhouse. Probably one of the best tv shows of all time! I never even knew about the series until it left the air.....if I had known about it, I would have watched it faithfully. That's probably why it was cancelled....no one knew about it!
The Dollhouse is not for the viewer that just wants an easy "escape". I mean....it's a complex show with tons of flashback and flashforward sequences, so it's hard to follow if you don't pay attention. For me, that's a compliment. I don't like formulaic tv....
