Young Sheldon
Anyone catch this new series yet? Its a spin-off prequel of the Bing Bang Theory's character Sheldon at the age of 9. Here's the first episode...so far I like it.

I can't watch BBT. There was an episode where they poked fun at Jesus. I really hate that show.

I've seen a couple of episodes of BBT, and while it is funny, I stopped watching because of the way they portrayed Sheldon's mother as a weirdo, controlling, Bible-thumper.

Yep she is portrayed like that, and it gets on Sheldon's atheist nerves that she is but they do love each other unconditionally, in spite of...I like both shows. I don't expect Hollywood to ever "get it right" in terms of how Christians are portrayed, I just view it as entertainment and move on from there.

I haven't watched YS yet. I probably will at some point. I do like BBT but have only watched it in reruns mostly.
I agree, FO.

I don't watch every show that comes along, Bookman. I've quit a couple this year I would like to watch but they are full of porn IMO.

This was one of the two or three episodes that made me say never again.
