I completely agree! I was very upset watching the documentary, and I also agree that there was enough reasonable doubt for an acquittal. I have heard what wasn't presented in the documentary, but I also believe that was weak.
The police corruption in this case wreaks to high heaven. It was very disturbing to watch.
I guess since I'm a true crime fanatic, I'm very familiar with false confessions scenarios and how easy they are to concoct. It was clear to me that Brendan was not in any shape to be questioned without a lawyer present. The cops coached that whole thing, top to bottom.
Don't know if you know it or not, but a special about this is going to air on ID Channel on Jan 30. They are going to supposedly pour over all of the evidence, even the evidence not presented in the documentary, and interview all of the main players. I like Keith Morrisson (from Dateline NBC), as he always seems to be a fair guy and is always respectful to people of faith.....so I hope he's fair in this special.
I guess you know people signed a petition to get Obama to pardon Brenden and Steve, right? LOL....I was ready to sign it myself.
