It doesn't make me doubt anything that is important for the simple reason that my faith isn't based on absolute Biblical inerrancy or simplistic adherance to traditional concepts about Bible history. I'm not anti-science nor do I believe anything that science claims at face value, especially not when they attempt to define ancient history, which is far too complex. The age of the Earth is a far less complex issue, the development of life including the human being is totally different to that.
????
Earth created Day 1 (Gen 1:1-5)
Fish and birds created Day 5 (Gen 1:20-23)
"cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth" and man created Day 6 (Gen 1:24-27)
No complexities are there? No differences are there? God said, "Let there be; God said, "Let the waters teem; God created; God said, "Let the earth bring forth;
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image ...
Simples.
You didn't understand what I was saying.
